About Study Abroad – Editorial Policy

Learn how we research, review, and update Study Abroad content for international students.

Our Mission

Study Abroad helps students navigate international education with clear, practical guidance. We curate country guides, application tips, and scholarship resources so you can make informed decisions.

Editorial Policy

We prioritize accuracy, transparency, and student-first advice. Our editorial team:

  • Uses official sources (universities, government agencies, and recognized organizations).
  • Separates guidance from opinion and highlights uncertainty when rules differ by country or university.
  • Updates content when policies change or deadlines shift.

Source Standards

We reference primary sources wherever possible, including official university admissions pages, visa authorities, and national education agencies. We cite secondary sources only when primary documentation is unavailable.

Review & Update Schedule

Core guides are reviewed at least every 6 months. News and policy updates are reviewed more frequently when changes occur. Each guide includes a “last updated” indicator where applicable.

Team & Review Process

Our editorial team includes researchers and international education advisors. Articles are reviewed internally before publication, and we welcome corrections from universities, partners, and readers.
